Anyway Ms Bhutto was the first elected female Muslim leader of any country, in this case Pakistan..
This is terrible... I was just thinking about this lady yesterday, she represented freedom there.The problem is, if I know my muslim countries, the populace will blame Musharriff and a complete chaos and revolution will break out.Al-Queada is no doubt responsible, and will step into the vaccuum.This is their basic tactic anyway, they have been blowing themselves up all over Pakistan for months now.
Free elections probably wont happen now, and if they do then who is going to run against Musharriff?

Actually the last time something like this happened Al-Queada had assasinated the leader if the Northern Alliance on a Sunday, That Tuesday was 9-11-01.

I'm convinced that ANYONE that stands for peace will never be allowed to voice their opinion because the "powers that be" will just off them. She stood for peace but unfortunately she was trying to bring peace to a country that is so far gone and probably can never be fixed anyway.

Hadnt heard the Taliban claimed responsibility , makes sense..This works perfect with how the operate, why have afghnastan when you can have a neuclear armed pakistan under your control.
Plus mushariff has been cracking down hard on them and letting the US hit them in pakistan so complete turmoil in the country is what they thrive on.
Thanks to the war in Iraq these guys have had good training on how to hit hard targets now.

I was thinkin the same. I mean, supposedly things are going well in Iraq. It's hard to have a war on terror without the "terrorists".

It's just a shame that it could be that someone had to die under false pretenses, but that's the world.
