it just arrived and i'm pretty happy with it, but still extremely confused. i think it's gonna take me a little while to learn how to use it with any degree of proficiency.

anyone here using it and got any tips, tricks, general information, or anything of that sort? i'm using reason 2.5

ok, i'm gettin the hang of it. i've figured out how to do my own programming and shit and save those presets.. however, i'm still having problems getting Reason to record what i play using the drum pads. it'll record when i play it using the keyboard, but not when i use the pads. anybody got a clue as to how i fix this?

how them pads feel? I was thinking of picking this up for the pads when I'm on the go.

it's pretty nice. i still find myself going to the mouse a lot, but that'll change. they are real nice for just playing around with. when you're trying to think up a pattern they are useful. but i still find myself plugging things in and editing things in the sequencer by hand becuase i like having everything look neat and organized. even if it doesn't matter if my hat's are perfect 16ths in length since it plays the full sample length anyway, i still like to just have them all the same just because it looks neater. i'm sure i'll grow out of that eventually though and use only the pads since it'll be easier and quicker and just not worry about things being perfectly lined up.

if that bothers u u can go into FL studios options and set it to record to step sequencer instead of piano roll and it will line it up as if u were punching em in on the step sequencer
