Just copped the final piece for tha new studio

I copped a used, yes used MPC3000, couldn't swing a new piece but for the nostalgia it used belong to Davinch from Bmore's Ruff Endz, I won't tell you the deal I got on it but its all of that.....after owning the old MPC2000 and contemplating getting the 1000 to replace it I couldn't pass up the Deal.....I recently sold my sp1200 to another illmuzik member so I could get either 3000 or the 4000 to complement the Triton....anyhow they make a good combo and I will have a beat up soon, so far this thing reminds me a whole lot of the 2000, but trying to find how dre could have the room for 4 or 5 of em I dunno anyhow, I will have some more feedback on the Triton and this piece later on......

i want to produce an album with all the old school shit. technic 1200's tr-808, and maybe 2 sp's, and some different effect pedals and whatnot.

i wanna see what my style of production sounds like compared to those of my favorites back in the day.

I would get it...even though its 12 bits..but if you still want Very real clean or gritty drumz try to get the 3000, its 16bits.....and even though the 4000 might be newer...a lot of other paid producers still prefer the 3000....you gotta love the clarity of a very well sampled snare and kick from either live drumz or a high quality akai sample drums but I snatched all new vinyl drumz this weekend....all I have to say about the 3000 is, it cannot be touched......I had a Motif, I had a Fantom and a triton but the drums were Weak....but I discovered a new trick on the Triton though by using the suboscilator on just about any kick you can get the low punchy kik with bottom and resonance...LOL and you know how I love my drumz, but the other key is running my kick, snare, bass and samples individually thru my behringer mixer and adding fx & equ where needed....sounding real and thick...I sold the sp for like 800, thatz back when I had a good deal on another piece I wanted..
