Jmt Solo Efforts

stoupe is busy working on his solo record. it’s gonna be a mix of portishead, dj shadow, sade, and the RZA. trust me, he’s got some crazy shit on this record. we’re gonna try to start working on a new JMT record after all of the smoke from these projects clears. i might be working on a solo project also, but i’m not sure if anyone wants to hear my drunken anger over anyone’s beats but stoupe’s. we’ll see, i got some fire for yall either way.

That Stoupe solo album is going to be sick as fuck!

The Stoupe album sounds really interesting - I'd like to see how he devolopes his beats as self supporting instrumental tracks as well as hearing other people over his stuff. I think if he did stuff with female vocalists [trip hop stuff like Portishead], It might be a bit hit or miss though - still it would be interesting to see if he could make it work, and I'd like to hear how he'd make it work as a cohesive body of work.
