isolating vocal samples

hey guys. yeah, so basically i'm messing around with alot of vocal samples lately, and the drums always seem to get in the way of the vocals, and i'm unsure how to either turn down the bassline/drums or bring out the vocals somehow. i'm using nnxt. thanks.

do it in recycle its better tht way u can cut off the bass drum and bass line but its near impossible to get rid of snare / rim shots and other stuff like hi hats and hi toms

HOw so in recycle im actualy having the same p[roblem i wana get rid of a bass drums that messes with everything

Filtering, pitching, all that good stuff. You got to play with the sample no matter what you sample in. It's all about tweaking my dude. There's really no way to get rid of the drums in a sample. If it's in there, it's in there, you just got to try different techniques to cover it up.

cut the low end by up to 80hz (maybe 100 is some cases)
