some illmuzik family member mentioned that it does exist a windows version of it cant remember who was it.

PT Free DOESN'T support VST's. It works with Win98 or ME only (no NT, 2000 or XP support at all).

If you buy some digidesign hardware, like an mbox. Then it runs on XP

but pro tools FREE only runs on 98/ME
