Actually a while back I thought MySpace was actually gone. The place looked like it was gutted and raided by any and every thing. Then they came back to life, they're trying, but it's just that everyone's on FB. It's to bad because the MySpace platform was good, it's just the way the people used it, as well as the way it was managed.

Yeah I agree, there was a time when myspace was really buzzing, some days I was getting 100 plays of my tracks and many collaboration opportunities. Suddenly myspace started changing shit and it slowly became harder for me to promote myself to my fans and slowly but surely after facebook came out it eventually died, leaving just spammers. The music world just became so oversaturated that my voice was lost in the crowded hum of mediocrity and total shit. And not being one to compromise my morals or ideals was unable to adapt to the new dog eat dog world of self promotion, and putting myself above others by treading on toes and at the expense of others or my own integrity.

yea but u can design ur page!!! i hated facebook for not letting u do that... the funny thing is, when i first discovered facebook and registered, i was never there... i think i had around 10 friends for about a whole year... myspace was killin the game! there were alot of reasons for its demise... u cant pin it on one... i even remember the older crowd saying myspace was for teens, and facebook had this "classmates.com" vibe... thats when my facebook page began to grow, and my myspace went to shambles.

There are some die hard MySpacers but for all general purposes yeah it's dead. What Slik is talking about was the same thing that grabbed me...creating and designing your page, that was the ish. I've never been a big fan of any of them but right now fb is a great tool to contact and keep in touch with old friends no matter what you think of it.

Lol the old friends I dont talk to is because I dont want to talk to them, and the friends that I would want to talk to on it arent even online, so it sort of defeats the object. If I want to talk to my family I pick up the phone, I really find it serves no purpose for me except allowing the people Id like to avoid get in touch with me so I have to communicate with them. I got an account, I tried it and it just wasnt for me, no matter how many people tell me what its good for, I just dont buy it.
I dont give a fuck about promoting 2Good Productions anymore, I wasted too much time and money trying to do that already. So facebook has no use to me.
