nope! i dont think its possible. but u cud try cuttin out certain frequencies but this wud damage the beat. or try and find a part where theres no vocals n just loop that, am sure the mpc can do that. but i kno it cant jus remove vocals from the beat. ure a producer , if u want it that bad u could just recreate it....

there are vocal remover programs. they only work in specific situations though. the vocals have to be dead center with all the other instruments panned either left or right. and in most cases songs aren't recorded like that.

here's a link to one: http://www.yogen.com/(u4o4d145fkujiyrprgqhuo55)/download/

it probably won't work the way you want it too, but its worth a try.

You could always try and find the song on vinyl, make sure it's the single.

It may have the instrumental on it

Again, this only works in certain situations, and the SF vocal remover is not very accurate.

yeah, sf vocal remover as well as most other 'vocal removers' are hella jenky...

there's a certain thing u can do to some tracks that will remove the vocals. i forget what the technique is called, but it works similar to how mercurywaters decribed. i think primo or dj clue or someone did it on this old tlc track to make this new beat like 2 years ago...and i cant remember which track that was either...

ok, so i'm no real help here....find the single on vinyl ;)
