Initializing a Multi in Sonar 4

Tried over and over and I still can't get this to work. What I do is..

1. Place the certain instruments in the parts.
2. Go to Utility and select Initialize.
3. Then Execute it.

After that, when I go to test it on the keyboard, it goes back to the original AP: PowerGrand.

Help please.

just press mutli and set the instraments to the right channles,thats it,

why are u going to ulitlity and initalazing??? that makes no sense

if im not mistaken, 'initialize' in the motif means reset/delete. that might just be where ur going wrong....

Idn, some other guy told me to initialize the multi after I set everything up at the Motif website, but thanks yall.

No u dont do that, u onlyh intalaze when u want to restore factory settings.

Just turn on the motif and press multi button and u should be good to go

Haha did that and the sounds are coming out but I can't get the parts to go in seperate channels. The only part I can hear is the first one in all the channels. For example, I got the Fanfare as the first part and BigSymphony as the second part on my Rack and I open up Sonar and play in the first MIDI Track and hear the Fanfare and then play in the second MIDI Track and I still hear the Fanfare instead of the Big Symphony. Help with this please.

Up on my question. I'd be better with someone like Classic answered the question since he uses a Motif Rack.
