I read about this in the paper... actually haven't watched any real t.v. in awhile.
crazy stuff,
i agree it could happen here.

i doubt that sort of thing will happen in the us or even here in the uk, for one india is right next door to pakistan, where the "terrorists" were more than likely trained. They would have a real hard time trying to get that sort of ordinance in the uk or us, as it much more complicated than just crossing a poorly guarded border.
Actually in the case of the us with its pretty much open southern border. I dont suppose it would be too hard, but Im not so sure it will go down like that.
This is just another intelligence planned and controlled "terrorist" atrocity aimed at uk and american citizens to keep up reminded of the threat of these "crazy Terrorists".
Out of the over 100 killed, only one was from the uk.
If you ask me they are not very good at hitting the right target. IMO its propaganda.
They have to keep the number of people killed by terrorists up to justify the vast sums of money that have been sidelined to pay for fighting them.
But still the fact is you are more likely to die in a road traffic accident than be killed by a terrorist, but yet driving a car doent seem to be the biggest threat facing mankind, its "terrorists".

don't assume that they came from pakistan or they were funded and trained there, leave that to indian officials , who whether they're right or wrong, need to limit the amount of political blowback and calls of incompetence from the populace for their inability to handle the attacks, despite hints and info of mumbai.

neither countries, like all of 'em, can be trusted for truth and transparency, especially when blame and denials come so easy for true enemies. and , because of the deaths of foriegners, the tension and potential to go to yet another war will be present once again.

to make matters worse, the same tactics used during 9/11 by so-called experts are being used again. 'well planned attack', 'could only be carried out with help/training from outside country', etc. these 'revelations' are used to convey that local terrorist groups couldn't manage to come up with a plan, no, it would take a state sponsored entity or special ops to train such people on how to do anything that wasn't haphazard. see they had almonds, it proves they planned for the long run ergo, outside guidance. now add that the only one caught alive is allegedly from pakistan (therefore it must be a pakistani plot). add in the unconfirmed statement from an official, that was never verified from the intelligence agencies, that the terrorist were in constant communications with outside forces, you've got a good rumour/conspiracy. of course, that last one speaks volumes, because if true, then it really shows the people of india how inept the various agencies and military were if they couldn't somehow shutdown communications or at very the least, trace, monitor and record these alleged communications, but i'm just sayin'.

despite the recent agreement between pakistan and india to jointly fight and co-operate in fighting terrorism very recently, it's possible, that certain elements within either countries gov/agencies/entities, more likely pakistan due to some having more to lose, could be neck deep in this shit. even more likely, a group or groups, fearing that coalition and hence the increased danger on another front, again could be based in pakistan but not in any way connected to the gov or agencies. or just another home based terror group that didn't get caught prior.

either way, welcome once again to the fog of war

Tru, tru.. After having gathered more information its still a terrible tragedy.

Pakistan needs to get their collective shit together, because although Pakistan is not a terrorist state a whole hell of a lot of them seem to come out of there....
I mean of course the gov of Pak didnt endorse or sanction the attack but damn... How long before they crack down on this shit?
THEN they are speculating the "Rogue" elements of PK intelligence agency may have trained them????
Better reign in your people is all I'm saying...

i.s.i. trained them before they were designated a terrorist group for the disputed kashmir, but like all countries that either train, support, or supply 'movements', blowback is inevitable. pakistan is busy fighting and getting bombed by the taliban an al qaeda (and other terror or radical groups). could they do more? sure, but that's true of damn near everybody. the question is can they survive and how much would it really do?

This is where I dont get why the population isnt more open to outside help.
They act as if this form of Islam that is taking terror to this country is ok to have going on even as their words say otherwise. If they truly dont want it going on I think they need to open up to operations in those mts by the US.
I can understand why they wouldnt want us there, but they arent able to stop it.
