It's called SoundLoad

SHORT OVERVIEW
1) Instead of using CD's they use plastic cards like a phone card.

2) You design the card and put your site or myspace on the card and order however
many cards you want at 35 cent per card (1,000 cards is only $350). If you don't have
a bar code they give you one.

3) You sell the cards to whoever, wherever. They go to the site on the card and enter
in a pincode that is on the card and redeem the music.

4) When that person downloads you music it's counted as a SOUNDSCAN!

- If your performing you can give it away as part of the
sale w/your show and counts as soundscan

- You can keep the cards yourself and sell your cd and give
the car with your cd so they can get the digital version w/bonuses
and it'll count as a soundscan

- You can think up numerous ways

Selling out the trunk of your car doesn't shoow up on soundscan
and you could be movie 10-20k indie out the trunk ... This is a way
to help register those numbers with soundscan so you can really
prove to labels that your moving units.

Great idea in my opinion ... You just have to find your own angle
to make it work for you rather than just saying "hey buy this card
go to your pc punch in the code then you can download my music"
which is clearly a horrible sales pitch lol ... You gotta make it work for you !

*IP's get tracked so you can't buy cards and redeem them all yourself

Period. That's it, no gimmicks, no retailers, no other costs.
