U can't compare Lil Wayne/Dipset to underground acts. that's retarded. I've done away with commercial and underground over the years. If you nice you nice. Bottom line. But yo, to compare Lil Wayne to JMT. Early JMT is lyrical superior to anything wayne or Dipset has said. I can prove that,,,as can the industry insiders here such as God, Shaheed, etc..... Check it, if you are out there makin top 40 hits. Good for you, make the dough,,,BUT, you are not gonna get a record deal spittin wit skills. Anyone can rhyme like 50, Wayne, T-Pain....etc. throw a Dre or Timbo beat on it and chances are it will sell.
If shit bores you, then cool. Me personally, I like to hear somebody at least put some effort into their music. You don't get that with Top 40 joints. (Excluding the Luda joint) Some people like watered down , unlyrical shit. All goes back to opinion.
