I'm taking a break from it all

I'm gonna be taking a break from beat making and DJ'n for a little while. I just recently quit my weekly DJ'n gig on Thursday nights due to management reasons. I've also been working with a few local acts just to keep my grind on also. But right now, I just feel like I need to put everything on halt and take time to think things through about what I wanna do. Actually, I won't be taking a break from it all cuz I'll be dj'n at some venues every other week and all. Other than that, I probably won't be making any beats for a while until my head clears up and who knows when that will be. It could be a week, a month, maybe a year from now depending on how I feel. THE GOOD NEWS IS, I WON'T BE LEAVING YALL! I'll still read the forums ER'DAY cuz it CAN be boring at work! YA HEARD ME!?

Hey do what you gotta do! It's always good to take a break from things, no matter what it is. The good thing is that when you do come back to it, you'll have a fresh perspective and approach. Good luck.

Back in 95, I use to spin every day, two to three hours a day. I took a three day trip to the beach, came back, and made one of the dopest mix tapes of my life.

I hear you I took a break from DJ'n a few years back and now everytime I go to a party my blood boils for it again so by the end of the summer I'm gettin my tech's back and goin back to shuttin clubs DOWN!
