It is a sampling tone machine (rather than drums). The principle is that instead of contolling sound with pads or buttons, you fader up. It just like scratching, fader on sound on, fader off sound off. Only it has a sequencer to remember your composition. You can control samples, loops or internal synth tones with the faders. Using flares, transforms, crabs, etc. you can control pitch, sustain, volume, or fast cutting using the master fader. It will also automatically set the pitch of the tones to the correct scale. Think of it as an mpc with vestax scratch faders instead of pads.

Nevermind, they are only midi controllers, no sequencing, and the faders are the sorry digital ones, not the classic clicking vestax faders. Sorry to waste your time. But I bet trance dj's are are going nuts.
