I still support the troops, I dont support the fact we are in Iraq and that some of these guys are on their 5th tour and they brains are pretty fucked and there will be no help for them now or in the future.
Wait till they get back here..Think all that is gonna stop or get better or go away??
The war comes home one way or another...

I dont ever support them doing heinous acts either, but look at the Chief and the secretary of defense that started all of this in the first place, they never put any checks on these guys.
Also everybody from every country in the world trains young minds to violate the Do not Kill rule that we all insist the rest of society to uphold, in the name of defending its populace.
Whats fucked up is they dont have any further training , like how NOT to be a fucked up killer.

The thing you have to remember is these people are in a very stressful situation, imagine seeing things like your friends being blown the fuck up and knowing your life it threatened every second of every day. War ain't like in the movies. Imagine dealing with the carnage of a bomb blowing up dozens of civilians on a regular basis, limbs and flesh and puddles of blood. That fucks with your mind. Its easy to be disgusted when your behind your computer and not in the middle of the shit.

There hasn't been a war without incidents like this. Far worse went on in Vietnam.

Yep thats what Im saying, Im not condoning it, Im saying its fucked up all around, the dudes that shot up a car with the kids parents in it at a check point for instance, If your the soldier your prolly scared as shit as they have suicide bombers all over the place and they dress up as women and kids and w/e else they can use to get to you, and then you kill a family I mean those dudes are gonna come home VERY fucked up...
You do what you gotta do to stay alive.. I dont HAVe to hate them , they are wearin it on themselves already.
I support all those people and its too bad shit is as fucked up as it has gottan, Im hoping that Iraq is gonna reconsile to a greater degree real quick so we can get the hell out.

War fucks with peoples heads, when you have to justify the killing of other people in your own head then all sorts of things become possible. When you see your fellow soldiers and friends being killed hatred becomes king, war is wrong. It is also a place for psychopaths to be in their element. I thought the UN was created to end war, why does it still get funding when it has failed its primary task?
Humans as a race are capable of many sick things, is it any surprise that these things come to light during a war when friends and family are being killed on both sides, it leads to retaliation further escalating the violence.
Violence begets violence.
