I need a good soft synth that yall use when yall make down south beats. if any of yall have one I will be happy to trade you something for it or you can tell me where to get it what ever I need a good synth to make down south beats. I would also like to know some of yall formats for making a downsouth beat. aight I appreciate your responses and please lets stay postive

any synth or sample or sound module can be applied to make any kind of music.

question: what are you working with already? are you working with anything? have yuo ever made a beat before?

here's what you need (or can use). A simple all around sollution- A program called Reason. Right now version 3.0 is out at about 450.00 (new) But to save some pennies I'd go with version 2.5 for starters seeing as you can get it for around 2'somthing (200.00) on ebay.com (used not new). You will need a midi controller (piano keyboard). If you don't have one.

But since you only asked about software i'll assume so. The factory sounds that come with Reason will be all you need to do the job. Only thing extra you'll need is a good (2 or 3) 808 drum kits and patience, time, and talent. visit my site www.vizionrecordings.com to here some of my Reason tracks.

Yo maybe I should of given more information, I am a sample-based producer and I am trying to become more versatile. I underdstand that yall might think that my questions are alittle newbie-ish but in all reality I am new to producing music using synths ya mean. I had an artist who liked my beats, and wanted to work with me, but I declined his offer because he was looking for me to do "down-south" beats. I felt bad cause I hate turning down potential money so I was like let me learn up on some stuff and get the studying because I wanted to learn more about the style of beatmaking. I listen to alot of southern producers music and what I lack are synths. I was asking did anyone know of anyplace I could find some good synths ya mean. As in format I was just trying to get some useful tips thats all. Like I said I don't know much about "down south" beats. Yes I make beats I have made hundreds of beats already. But I can't blame yall for asking the question because hey yall didn't know. I didn't think I was asking too much and all I asked for was some postive feed backs. Check out sampletank 2 XL. Its kinda like a software Triton, or Fantom. Straight synth (strings, bass, piano, horns, ect.) and you can load samples (timestretch em and all). Reason loads samples too.

well, like i said- i asked about your experience. you got to be more specific because questions like that arent really worth spending time answering- you basically asked us to tell you how to make a beat.

call it "tough love" or whatever.. didnt mean to come off like i didnt care, we all start somewhwre as it is, but your question left a lot more questons then answers for me.
