i think you're referring to Sony Soundforge. Nontheless, i know you can definitely cut parts out of a song. soundforge does have an option to adjust the pitch, it's aiight, there maybe other programs that may be better at adjusting pitch. but to sync up your joints, mess with the pitch option. Peace.

whether you use adobe audition or sony sound forge you can un your samples snd then timestretch them to the beats tempo. You can use the sondforge sister program acid which automatically time stretches its loops (you might have to adjust the beats per loops) or use auditions session mode, you just have to edit the loop settings as stated in the tutorials section

bro, im not a dumbass. i know there isnt any such thing as adobe sound forge. I was laughing at the joke too, you dont gotta explain it to me. There was sarcasm involved, you can be sarcastic and still tell the truth.

You can timestretch in FL Studio and Soundforge. However I've found it a lot easier to do in Magix Music Maker believe it or not as you can timestrech visually making it less of a trial and error process.

If you have a drum loop you are trying to match your sample to - you can visually stretch the sample to the same length as the loop which will inveriably cause the tempos of each to match.

Cheers
