This shit is worth the money. I dont regret any of it. If you ever played with the portable fisher price turntables before, you had to sacrifice some things. This shit is crazy though.

-Its got an 1/8", 1/4", and RCA outputs.
-Comes with the power adapter.
-Comes with the shell.
-The faceplate isnt grey like it looks like in the pictures. Its brushed aluminum which looks alot realer.
-Tonearm has a nice lock that wont break loose, and comes with a stylis protecter guard.
-Runs off 6 D cell batteries.
-The speaker is 10 times louder then i thought it would be, and even has a small speaker on the side (maybe a breathing port for the speaker?)
-Feels real strong. Especially with the cover on.
-Power on/off switch.
-Comes with 45 adapter.
-33, 45, and 78 rpm's.

-You might think of this thing as bein real wobbly when your vinyl is on it. No. Not the smallest bit off wobble of the record. The little felt pads that keep it from scraping are exactly in the right place.

Before i got it, i was thinkin of paintin the whole thing black. But this aluminum faceplate is dope. Im fine with this.

<>The speaker actually has real nice sound quality, and the amp for it is just the right size. It can be real loud, but with the volume knob the whole way up, the speaker really does NOT sound distorted. This is pretty rare that you got somethin that can do that.
<>The headphone ports are real nice. Feels/sounds like a real good connection. It gets loud enought to block out whatever noises you dont wanna hear (people talkin, car noise, other people playin music, etc). My only problem with the headphone port is that it feels like a certain freq range is missing. It aint my headphones either. I tried it on a couple different records, a couple different headphones. The range between your mids to lower-highs feels not as clear. But lowend, lower-mids, and upper-highs are perfectly clear.

NOW FOR THE BAD PARTS:

-IMO the tonearm feels like it doesnt have as much quality as the rest of the turntable. The cartridge is fine, the the tonearm just doesnt feel right.

-I can fix this problem, but the shell switch that locks it on feels too loose. It feels like the switch could go open too easy. But the handle isnt on the cover, so if the switch got open while you were holding it, you would only drop the cover and not the turntable.

Thats the only bad parts about it so far.

********UPDATE**********
Another bad thing (ainth that bad).
-Theres no stop button. I know i cant have everything, but a start/stop button would be real appreciated.

Another good thing.
-I think this is direct drive. I couldnt believe it. The platter is metal and doesnt wobble like the belt drive ones. And even when i stop the platter, it doesnt make that struggling noise like belt drives do. This thing is amazin me.

If you got any questions about it let me know. Im lovin this shit right now.

You dig?

Yea, thats what i mostly use it for. The cool shit is i go into the record store i can preview my shit right there, i dont hafto put down a deposit before they let me use those shitty headphones that dont even work.

Now i just sit down on my couch and just set my turntable next to me, put on a record and some headphones and im cool.

If i had a triton or a motif i would try to be doin pure synth shit. Scott Storch makes that shit look easy. He really got me to the point where i wanna get a triton.

I still think samplin is my thing, but i never could really afford a triton.

Thats what i thought id be able to do with it too, when i got it.

But its really not that good for scratchin unless you got 45's you wanna scratch on (too bad they dont make no 45 scratch records). It skips too much with the 12"s the PT01 has less skipping then the handytrax, but theres still too much skipping to buy it just for scratchin. And its got them sharp needles, they aint the spherical ones like you got on scratch needles, they cut up your vinyl if you scratch on that one part too much.

I know you a dj, i seen on your page, but i think its def worth it for diggin. Like you said, you were thinkin about it for a long time. I was too, but now that i finally just said fuck it, im gonna buy it, its worth it.

If your diggin a lot, you gotta sit in that chair in the middle of your setup and listen, but if you got this, you can hook it up on your coach and just chill while your diggin. I get a lot more done with this.
