I had been writing for Ghettoblaster magazine a while and their original cover story fell through. They asked if I had enough material to make the article longer (I could have doubled it actually I have an hour and a half recording of the interview) Also I only interview artists that I am very familiar with (I have been a P.O.S. fan for over a decade) and even then I did 4-5 days of research on him before I got on the phone, and had a huge list of possible questions in front of me. My goal is to become a decent writing and a good interviewer so a few years ago I figured I may as well just dive in and start doing it. This is by far the best interview and writing I have done. But like all artistic pursuits, I just want to continue to get better at it.
