So let me get this straight...Props is opening the door for developers to design plugin like toys but in Reasons own format?

THIRD Rack extension. And what this is, is a way for developers to build Reason devices. It is more than a plugin. As props have said for years, plugins don't fit at all with Reason. For example, all the routing is lost IE: CV. But this SDK developers will be forced to conform to the Reason way and give it all the routing features. Third parties that have already been announced include Korg, Sugar Bytes, Peff, Softube, GForce, SonicCharge. So I am FREAKING OUT.

Hey man, I'm happy for Reason users...this is really big news! I'm just gonna have to remember not to call them vst's...they're Rack Extensions!
