Patriots are playing the best football I've seen in my life. Since 'cameragate" I've enjoyed watching them cause they have a chip on their shoulder instead of this "where nice guys" attitude.
With that said, the Rockies are doing the same in baseball. They are outstanding on defense, and have solid hitters through the 1-8 spot. Whoever see's them in the World Series is going to get spanked. Their on a run baseball has never seen.
Through all the jubilation of getting Garnett and Allen....two guys who can't carry a team on their own. Being a Nuggets fan I've seen a ton of Garnett over the years. It's insane and hard to explain, but he has very little effect on the game. He stands out because of his work ethic and plays like a beast, never takes a play, but he's very rarely a factor in close games.Everybody's is failing to mention how Garnett is going to effect Paul Pierce's game. Paul Pierce spends a lot of time with the ball and feels out the defense and picks holes to attack. Garnett will crowd everything inside the three-point line and defenders will double off the "other" two celtics players not part of the big three. Next year think big for Boston. At the same time Ray Allen is going to be a beast playing with Garnett, there's not a purer shooter in the game.
Boston has no bench, and with the lack of depth the big three are going to have to kill themselves every night and they all a year older.
Even if the big three go off and the Celtics don't get hit with any injuries they'll get crushed in the Finals. I don't think you understand how deep the west is.
The Cavs would've got swept in the first round even if they playedthe west's #8 seed.
