Hey,

Not officially by making tunes, but I've been working in the audio industry for the past 2-3 years. I once considered a 'career' in making my own music, but it is such a difficult thing to get into, and I much rather work behind the scenes where I don't have to deal with as much BS.

i dont yet. i jus started gettin business minded about my music last year. i progressed in stages which i think was better for me. first i jus rapped, then my dad showed me how to DJ about a year later, then i started makin beats for my raps th next year, then i started makin beats for others, then got into producin for myself, and now im here...producin/arrangin/engineerin/writin/... for me and others im about to start gettin paid fa real real. i wish i started earlier, but i guess im alrite im 17. im gettin a triton sometime this month, and im goin to start off with that and take it from there.

I haven't made a dime from making music. I am still just trying to learn everything I need to know. There is a huge learning curve and I still have a lot of ground to cover. And most of the people I extend my services too tend to think I owe THEM something for making THEM a beat. I would love to make money for making music but I am still making money to suport making my music.

i made a little money, nothing that will pay the bills or nothing, but i just want to learn all i can and help people, of course we all want to be major musicians, make millions, have sex all day and eat a turkey sanwich as diddy would say, but we all are not going to, so i love music so much im willing to just learn and help troubled youth and teach people about music and hip hop and get paid that way..do it for love and the rest will come..thats my 2 cents

i'm working towards making it my full time job, i have the EP dropping in Oct this year, i have some guest production spots lined up on other people's work over the next 6-9 months as well, i then want to do maybe 2 12"'s and then drop an LP before the end of 2004, then and only after then, i'll be looking to get some kind of record deal.

But i'm realistic, it won't be a million ££ deal or anything, but i'm confident in my music that i can make enough money to live off at least for a few years provided the right people are behind what i'm doing.

I been making maybe 500 to 1000 a month or so selling beats to local up and coming or down or going "rappers" for the last 6 months or so.This producer has brought some foundation beats or loops from me a few times for a couple hundred. I don't really pay any bills. I either spend it on more equipment or wax. I would never depend on it at this point. My goals is to jsut get a name and finance mix cds. I did some drum programs for this local "india Irie type group on some folk music style" they wanted a tinkle of "hip hop". They paid me with this boss 8 track machine that I sold for 200 and a few quitar lessons.

thats cool you got fools buyin tracks from you...Id like to do it - but at tha same time i hate people and i dont like fools i dont even know up in my crib...If theres ways around that and also a small demographic of people that like tha kind of hiphop i do, i could see it happening then, but i dont know if too many cats want tha flavor of hiphop that i drop since most of em like tha typical stuff you hear on tv like just blaze etc...I did on tha other hand run in to this one fool, well who actually ran into me and he was totally feelin my flow and was all talkin this and that about hookin up, but then he flaked on me what with takin care of his kid or some shit?...Tha gay thing iz that was tha only dude so far in my town that had skillz and could really spit it out of about 10 other cats that sucked dick.
