There's a formula. For G-Funk, Dre had a formula.

For hit songs or club bangers (usually hit songs), it's a fucking formula, read this with an open mind and enlighten yourself. It's called "The Manual":
http://members.iinet.net.au/~ithompson/klf-book-themanual.pdf

It's written by cats that had a couple #1 hits. After you read it, then listen to all the major songs on the radio, and notice they're pretty much similar in song structure.

Read it with an open mind and without emotion i.e. don't spout bullshit about "this book teaches you how to sell out, fuck that." Just learn about song structure from them and how it may apply to you. You will find it helpful.

Ive had this on my comp for a few months and never bothered reading it, I finally did.
Its a good read, and the golden rule still holds true.

I just realised 1988 was 20years ago. Shit I remember KLF, doesnt seem so long ago, time flies.
