... T-Racks isn't really a mastering suite... it's an EQ w/ a compressor... and it's quite average at that. It's only popular because of good marketing... "mastering"... when 1, you can't master a beat by itself... well you can, but it's pointless... 2, mastering is probably done best by people w/ trained ears adn outboard gear... and 3, You could use the WAVES plugin to master if you were so inclined...

an mp3 is much lower quality file than a wave .. the top end of an mp3 is compressed and mushy... and the low end is brittle... mp3 should be only used for your ipod and intenet site/demo shit.. if your puttin out cd's dont use mp3 use wav files ... u can tell the diffrence on a set of good monitors... the high end of an mp3 is real shitty.. although most people arent listening as hard as us producers but im just lettin u know in case u didnt... mastering an mp3 is like tryin to polish a piece of shit... u will likely do more damage to the sound even though it may appear "louder" or whatever

is there an easy way to convert mp3 files into wav files?? T racks only loads wav's and it wont load mp3's.

Elementree: Search on the net for LAME.. it's the best WAV to MP3 converter....

U need to download Lame and a front but it all speaks for itself once u download it..

U almost haven't got any quality loss...

Peace
