How good is Ebay?

I was wanderin how many of yall actually bought somethin from ebay, how long it took, and if anyone here has ever been ripped of on ebay, sometimes the prices just seem too good to be true.:crazy:

Well, I've used e-bay for a while now. Usually if you're patient you can find some good deals (i got pete rock - main ingrediant on vinyl for 6.99) but I also got ripped off by some punk.. so it's always good to check out the fraud policy before bidding on something. Checking user feedback is a MUST. Anyways, its a good tool for that rare record you cant just seem to find.. or whatever else you desire.

Hey,

Most of synths are from ebay, ranging from $200 up to $1000.

Once you win the bid, it can take from a week to 3-4 weeks to get your stuff. This all depends on how fast you and the seller are quick to reply to emails, transfer money and get the stuff into the mail.

Ebay offers you a little protection from fraudulent transactions; paying with a credit card or with PayPal gives you more protection because you can dispute things which don't seem in order and possibly get your money back.

Have I been ripped off? Never. I've had stuff arrive late, but it always arrives.

Prices too good to be true? Are you looking at software, by chance?

i use ebay all the time from things like vinyl to md players to modules to my new k2500 keyboard, the site has it all at whole sale prices, yes there is a chance for fraud but you just have to check feedback and be smart about deals.

I never had a problem on Ebay and I have sold a lot of ish and bought it too, and I always get my merchandise within a week....2 at the most, I have been a member like 3 years...like it was stated....check the feedback and how long they have been a member...

over all, i have had real good experiences wit buying from e-bay... the main important thing is the seller raiting as somebody had mentioned before... i have bought a used sidekick, text books, super nintendo video games, and most crazy of all, the protools!!!! Have yet to have a problem with anything.... but make sure to chek out the seller, dont get tooken...! be ez

I've made big purchases and never been ripped off ...... $2,000 here and there. They always come through.

well ive ordered 32 mb for my mpc 2000xl for $10. the guy has a good rating so i suppose we will soon see if he is reliable

i bought an asr-10 off ebay and had no problems. works fine (if i knew how to use it). i was actually thinking about putting tit back up since i got an mpc. but check the ratings like everyone said.
