how do you use a midi keyboard to start and stop automation in frutiy loops?

I have a m-audio keystation 88 pro

I'm trying to use the play/record >> buttons in the FL environment.

so how you do that? knumsayin'

edit: And I was also wondering if there was a way to fully link fl studio to each function of my m audio 88 pro. (so I can use it to control the entire FL studio environment, enabling me to rely less on the mouse)

honestly Its been a long time since ive done that but its a matter of knowing with midi #(cc) activates thos buttons. i believe the last website shows those numbers. you manual should tell you how to program your keyboard. your going to change the button to "CC" compatibility then set the channel to the corrisponding number that activates that button.

now i believe thats right but like i said its been a while. im sure you know this already but for pretty much any other knob or whatever you just right click it and press "link to controller" and it should be working. if not you may need to do some further configuration in your midi settings within flstudio to get them talking. (you should know if there talking when the midi light at the top left blinks when your turn a know or activate and midi signal)
