how do you rate yourself

i can only go by the feedback that i have gotten from people.

so..........

i would say i am a pretty good producer who is only getting better. i think i have an original, creative approach... along with a flair for a "cinematic" feel to my beats........

my weaknesses are sampling- i am a much better composer then sampler....... and my diggin' knowledge is weak, plain and simple.. plus i got a lazy mans approach... just listening online at work i have found around 50 artists i have never even heard of and i have found excellent material. plus, basslines aret my strongest point....... and i have a limited knowledge of music theory and engineering- i know just enough to get by for now.......... if i had to rate myself ona scale....... i dont know thats a tough one. how bout those of you that have heard me do that? i cant really give myself a number........ and mad scientist, you are crazy thinkin you a 5.... only thing that seperates you rom a 7 or 8 is exposure... and lots of exposed heads arent even 5's... dont rate yourself like that!

it is a hard thing to rate yourself, personally i'd rate myself highly on a msical level, but not as high on a technical level, as my mixing down/levels arn't always spot on. generally i'd probably give myself a 6/7.

and like someone said, no one will ever be a 10, EVERYONE has room for improvement.
