How do you arrange your songs?

Just curious how do ya go about arranging your songs. Do you guys start with your drums first or ect?

With Reason i usualy set up a drum rack and lay something basic drums unless i have a realy hot drum track in mind.

Then ill start with some pianos or wtv and add a melody.

Its at this point ill usualy go back to the drums and place my kicks add percussions and fill out my hats or wtv.

Add to the sample or the melody
mix it and do wtv else comes to mind if i feel it needs too.

if i hear a hot sample regardless of what instrument ill go with that first

if im composing ill usually start with the melody on whatever instrument tickles my fancy, tho i dont really have a set formula, i just go with the flow!!!

well i start with a coke, some sandwiches and a piano.

i start with basic drums so i can structure the samples/keys, after i hav a structure down i go back to drums and tweak em to fit to the rest of the tune

The only time I have a set pattern is when I'm not inspired and that usually results in a whack track! IMO you have to feel the music in order for the track to bang.
