first off let me say that i do not enjoy using pro tools le... the only thing i like about is recording vocals and the punch in .. which now i hear is on evry sequencer ... i think pro tools is difficult to use.. i used to use cubase/nuendo and that shit was easy ... fade in and outs , panning, diseecting audio and manipulating was so simple .. i find pro tools difficult .. what is the best way to really learn this shit without dumping money into a class? i only bought an 002 because it would be easier to take my work to a couple other studios i fuc wit and also classic and some other people i fuc wit had the shit already so we could share projects an shit ... pro tools is so menu driven where cubase is more visually driven imo... theres no manual for the shit which is gay and that Dididesign forum sucks the search engine is so inaccurate... i need a better way to learn pro tools in and out.. any suggestions? i can do the basics but im having problems with fade outs and ins... automating certain things like panning, and chopping audio in an effiecient manner .. right now i gotta highlight the area, then switch to the chopper, handgrabber thing and pullit out ... in cubase u just select the chopper icon and click away and it chops it right there... its like everything takes that one more step to do it in pro tools... but i know that there are people who work pro tools like crazy.. i need to be one of those people! help me out please!
