"He's an MC, I'm MC. We're all doing music. If we're Arabs - if we're Jews - that doesn't matter" - rapper Quami De La Fox.
Ty checks out the scene in Israel where the army runs the main radio station and the playlist is all Britney and rock.
Hip hop has been going down in the background until now: Crews made up of Jews and Arabs are grabbing the mic to express themselves on the war that dominates their lives.
On both sides of the political hating the artists stand up for channelling rage into music and say it's more constructive than the politicians' solution.

that sounds tight actually. The MC's expressing politcal views... addressing the problems but in a constructive way like they said. I'd be interested to hear what is being said in their lyrics as far as their view.

Thanks Wings, nice post man.

True Relic,
Not just political hip hop, but insightful, intelligent, uplifiting, storytelling hip hop seems to be rather dead these days (at least on mainstream radio)
