Hip Hop for the Kids!

Yo, I was trippin when I seen my daughter watchin this show... I swear this is the most Hip Hop influenced kids show i've ever seen. It gives me hope(kinda) for our younger generation... I wonder who is runnin this? It's called Yo Gabba Gabba....
what do you all think? Could this show possibly save hip hop for the future generations?..lol..

Now why couldnt I have had shows like this when I was a kid. Then I would be able to beatbox, lol.
Oh yeah, hiphop was a baby too when i was. Damn.
If hiphop can become the escape from the violence that it once was, and not part of the cause then its a good thing to promote to kids. But as long as rap is all about slanging the yayo, or pimping ho's or displays of personal wealth then its not the best thing to be getting kids into at such an early age. But then again, my kids at the ages of 4,3 & 2 always got down to "Lean Back" so Im not the best example myself. Its good to see hiphop being represented in a positive manner to children, that can only be a good thing. Good post.

hell yes, my niece loves this! i wouldn't classify it as strictly hip hop though, it's more like crazy electro schitt. glad this show's on, reminds me of the early sesame street with herbie hancock and them.

nah, I started noticing this show when my daughter was watchin it one day and they were showing a drumset and explaining how it works....then I seen Biz and i was like wtf.... I seen Sean Kingston on there to... With the B Boy looking host I was like man, this is the future for our kids. Even though it's has some electro dance music, it's bringing back some of the roots of hip hop... I wish I would have thought of it...lol.
