i was just wondering from yall if theres any synths you have a personal liking for that isnt rreally as blown up as the monsters like the triton or the fantom are ,im lookin to buy a synth fo in like the 500 dollar price range and there seems to be alot in that range but i i cant seem to be able to hear them anywhhere online and ive never seen them in a store, one ive seen around ebay that looks nice is the roland xp 30 it looks like a nice board and i can afford it but like i said i cant play with that shit anywhere,as of right now it looks like i might buy the mo phat sound module and use my current psr as a controller and im feelin the mo phat sounds cuz i fucked with it a million times at guitar center but i wish it had more normal sounds on it like bells strings and pianos n shit but if any of yall got some 411 hit up a reply

I would stay away from them xp keys unless you need a set of key to play with. If it's just the sound you're after than you can consider looking into a JV1080 or JV2080 with the aditional pcm cards. Proteus ( emu ) is also very good with their latest proteus2500, but the pricetag isnt close to a 500bucks. Something to keep an eye on, if you ever get the chance to buy em cheaply, the kawai 5000 series S or R
