Help with sampling

Right so i've got this sample, and i've got it looping round to 4 bars.

I did that in Acid, next to add the drum track I imported the 4bar loop into cubase. I put down some snare's from Battery on every 2nd and 4th beat.

It sounds quite good, but i noticed that when i looked at the midi it didn't seem aligned correctly. I've adjusted the song in Cubase to be at the correct tempo, and its sounds good.

But when I looked at the midi the snares fall late of every 2nd and 4th beat on the bar, but it sounds fine. Have i done something wrong or should i forget about it????

being primarily an mpc user, i dont know much about computer production anymore, but i'm from the train of thought that if it sounds hot, go with it !

Man...not trying to knock yer choice of software, but if you popped yer loops in reason, or for that matter made yer own loops from scratch in reason everything is soooo EASY to syncopate and quantinize...like in a click of a button...theres no toying with various prgms and long processes to make a nice skeleton for tha rest of tha track...just a suggestion if yer gettin fed up w/ yer configuration.

Peace,

Thanx for the help, but i don't plan on using reason. I've played around with it before, it was well complicated plus you can't use vst's in it??

I want to master the software i've got now. I'll just go with the beat as it is

Word. Do what feels right for you, it was just a suggestion...
Odd: Go in yer preferences and in tha spot where you can leave yer quote, simply drop tha vb code that you normally write in here to link others to a webpage and it should show up...If yer confused, i think Fade has a VB code page you can look at to understand how tha stuff works...Its very much like html tho, if youve ever done basics w/ that?

Hope that helped....
