Hello everyone here on Illmuzik!

OK! So this is what I did:

1) I opened up Edison and loaded a sample to chop da shit out of to make a sick track.
2) I chopped it up with the markers and then loaded it into FL Slicer to play with.
3) Now I am trying to record the chops as a sick track beat on the FL mixer. I hit record and record it...(I think)

4) When I click on play it starts to play the sample on my Edison too?!@#! ( I don't want it to) and now it wont let me hear what I want to record.

Does anyone know what to do to keep Edison from playing when I hit play on Fl (I think). I don't want to open a new file and have to re-slice my already sick track.

I will search around, but if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks bye.

Don't record it into Edison, record the chops into the piano roll.

1. Turn your metronome and pre-count on.
2. Select the FL Slicer channel on the sequencer.
3. Hit record (in FL, not Edison).
4. Press play.
5. After the pre-count, start playin' your midi controller while FL records it into the piano.
