When i sync up cubase, ableton, or audition, i get lil glitches every now and then and the audio distorts for a second.

With ableton it was horrible, my beat was just all twisted up from the start..

But on cubase and audition i set it up with mpc as the master and have it synced up, then when i record every now and then it will skip as if i'm playing a cd.. Not while im recording but when i play it back i hear this, even when i render the outpput ast wav or mp3.

I even tried just recording it without syncing anything, same problem.

Anyone else had this problem? let me know, thanks.

(oh i'm using mpc1000 and windows xp)

u are using too much of the cpu memory usage, you gotta tweak the programs, I use ableton and it use to happen to me, i can help u with that. With ableton freeze the tracks after you get add all of the effects and all. That help reduce some of the memory usuage.

Nah... i'm just trying to RECORD the stereo out of the mpc into the daw and it does this.

My comp is fully capable of recording a single stereo track.

Its fine with recording multiple vocal inputs from my mixer at once. I don't know whats goin on.

i cant record anything on ableton ... there something wrong with the version i have it skips like crazy ... i think its because its a crack .. also live does this weird thing where my audio will sometimes drop out from the left channel of my mpc for no real reason...in pro tools i have none of these problems... but then again my pt is legit lol....

maybe u could record two mono tracks instead of one stereo... that might work

another thing is if ur using the digital connection u gotta make sure that its set to the right sample rate ... my motif only works right with the digital out if the sample rate is 4100 ... anything else and it fucs up and sounds really strange.

explain exactly how u have it setup and i maybe can help you

sometimes its the most stupid things that u never think off.

check your windows audio panel settings if the recordings options are set right for your soundcard input.

MPC stereo out into Channels one and two of M audio mobile pre usb interface.

MPC midi in/out 1A into m audio midi sport uno 1in 1 out (midi to usb) And midi in/out 2b to my synth, and the audio outputs of that goin to the mpc's record in, and using it with input thru until i get the final cables for my mixer.

And thats about it.

I record all the tracks 1 by one internal on the mpc, you wont have that problem. I record melody and drums seperated and then save it on the cf card in the pc and export it to audition. Might work for you (you do need a large amount of ram).

Nah dude... I'm recording just the stereo outs, which is in essence just one stereo track, just as i'd do for 'jest the melody' etc.. So i don't think that'd solve the problem cuz I'd still be recording a stereo track.

Also bout my latency being too low in cubase, I have a m audio mobile pre usb ASIO interface, and the latency is not set within the DAW, i've tried all the settings on the soundcards control panel as far as latency goes, no luck.

At Ash, It was doin this before I even hooked the synth up, in fact I hadn't even used the synth on the beats i was trying to record.

i know your system is capable of running the program, but have you tried to run diagnostics to see how much cpu power the program is taking up? cracks are capable of having some terrible memory leaks.
