help on tracking out with AA3

so i have a roland fantom x6 and adobe audition 3 and i need to track out my beats from fantom to adobe....im having alot of problems doing so.... if any body can help that would be great???? i need to know what i need and how to accomplish this

i have a m-audio mobile pre amp and all im trying to do is track out my music onto adobe audition. i just dont know what i need to hook up and how....im going from the outputs of my roland and goin into the inputs of my interface and usb out of the interface to my comp. but adobe is still not finding my roland?

Well it won't find your Roland ever. You need to just record in audition

what do u mean its not gonna find my roland?....ok so how should i hook up my roland to adobe audition?....like what cords do i need....thank you for you help

The fantom has USB ports, you need to go direct to the computer. from the fantom.

ok im doing that right now but im still not getting a signal on my multi track view on adobe? do i have to add my fantom in on a track somehow?

I have not worked with the fantom in that way, but I would guess that you need to open the files more like a thumb drive and copy them to a folder on your hard drive then import them in to audition. Does the fantom show up under "My Computer"

Also what does the manual say to do?

yeah i know how to sample my complete song on my roland and export it to adobe threw usb but its not sounding the best and i want to mix in the beat with adobes wide selection of tools. so i dont want the whole beat on one stereo track. i want multiple tracks with all my different instruments... still cannot figure it out!

its cool, the fantom has its own sampling system in it so im just gonna track out on the fantom....sampling each instrument....ugghhhh this takes forever! thanks anyways man i appreciate it
