HELP Installing a dual monitor graphics card

I just bought a 2600 pro series ATI redeon graphics card. I want to install it myself but Im not sure of how to unistall my previous video drivers without screwing something up. Also, how do you change your primary display adaptor in the system BIOS? Any basic help would be apprecited.

Are you currently using the on-board video card or a separate card that is installed in your system?


If you have an individual card Windows should automatically detect the change and you would go to uninstall software in Control Panel to uninstall the old drivers.

just stick it into one of your PCI slots it should have a manual that came with the card.

what motherboard do you have? What os? Is the card PCI, PCIe or AGP?

I just copped the duel monitor setup as well.


can't believe how I manged before! it so nice to drop plugins on the second screen or edit wavs on the jumbotron.
