HELP CONNECTING YAMAHA PSR-E313

im getting this error .. i dont know what to do ... the PC is picking it up ,, beeps when connected and thats all .. FRUSTRATED ,,,

Managed to get it working but its reading as below .. just windows drivers loaded ... cant get the Yamaha drivers to load :-(

So it's working but it just doesn't show the proper name in the settings? Normally that's fine, as long as it's working.

From the error, I'm thinking it doesn't like the USB port you have it connected to. Did you try another port?

Yep tried all the ports ... not doing ... but as you said its so long its working ...

Are you running Windows 8? Is it possible the Yamaha drivers are buggy?

Might be ... I'm running 8.1 64 bit .... the website shows support for 8 but they just don't work .... Tried another program called Yamaha music soft down loader for transferring MIDI onto the keyboard and its also not picking up even with the same ports that FL and REASON are reading the keyboard ... weird ..
