you should have kept your two cents in your pocket. you dont know what hell this man is going through. you have no idea. he might be on the grind trying to find a job and a roof by day and go to the homeless shelter at night and sleep and make beats until the next day only to grind again. you dont know and neither do i. the only thing you can do is pray for homeboy and hope he finds what he is looking for.

I should take a hammer and slap the fucking ignorance out of you youngster. :bash:

ok man i agree with this but the last line aint a good look..... lol trust me i want to say a lot more then i did and trust im a little more then irritated by it... but we just cant get at em that way!

anyhow lets get this back in line without the fightin' words!

again we got a dude whose got that real love fro this and if anything we shuold just offer our support- and if he aint workin then yeah he needs to be out tryin to get that on as well but you can let him know that without tryin to shut the man down.

Oddymental, keep doing your thing. Don't mind what some people might tell you, what matters is what you do and how you handle your own situation. I always hate it when someone tells certain people what to do or assume things, fuck that shit. Do you.

most of what you said to me...is hippocritical.

For the guy who said "Keep my .02 in my pocket"

Could you have kept that to yourslef and not responded to me, and instead helped dude out ?

To the guy who said "You dont know what he is going through"

You dont know what im going through, you dont know what i been through - so how can you tell ME ? For all you know this can be from one former homeless man to another.

"I should take a hammer and slap the fucking ignorance out of you youngster"

Ignorance - so Violence and Foul language is what I need more of "oldman" ?

"yeh DAMN DaSon that was harsh man."

He never denied it, so im going to say being real is better than "OMG I ADMIRE YOUR HUSTLE", I rather see him survive then die making music...in his own words.

And cold truth "im not trying to be a jerk here but seriously some of you need to think before you say something. "

You didnt think before you responded. you dont know who or what we know. For you to come off holier than thou, kinda puts a damper on your whole point. I wasnt being rude to the guy, i was being REAL. and you are going about being the "corrction officer" telling people that YEAH "forget that you are homeless, have nothing to eat, and your job sucks..just make music and let it all come together." Those arent your words exact - but this is what im getting from it.

I dont care what you love...Human Survival Comes First. This is WHY we do things, and WHY WE DONT do things. Survival. Love can come and it can go.

So instead of hyping living out of cars and struggle AND making music.

I say...Work your ass off - and GET RIGHT. Music should come second to your life, health, and security.

Anyone who thinks elsewise needs a reality check.

Unbelievable...ignorance is a disease!!!! Unless you're a mindreader you have no idea why I'm homeless!!! As you should have been taught - if you don't have something positive to say - keep your mouth shut!!! I am not your little brother in need of advice or a lecture!!!

Music is what gives my life meaning...I do it because without it...I'm nothing. I either make it or I die trying and I can never fail. I only fail if I QUIT...to QUIT is to DIE...and DEATH is not an option!!!!

I wish everyone the best of luck...where there's a will there's a way. NEVER QUIT.
I dont need to know why you are homeless, and most wisdom doesnt come from reading minds. It comes from experience.

You arent my little brother, correct, im some random guy speaking my mind on a message board. Whats your point ?

You dont have a house, you "may" be working...but you find time in your day to log on and aks people for help..online...

That doesnt make sense to me.

Anyone in a compromising situtation, and i been and seen many, LAST thing on their mind is an internet discussion or burning a CD.

"Music is what gives my life meaning...I do it because without it...I'm nothing. I either make it or I die trying and I can never fail. I only fail if I QUIT...to QUIT is to DIE...and DEATH is not an option!!!!"

But i see from this quote why you dont see how i see it.

Im not gonna impose, but i will inform...

GOD gives your life meaning. Ever think about that ? God gives you your love for music - ever think about that ?
And God determines whether you die or not.

So all of this you are saying, means nothing until you put god first.
Maybe thats why you are going through hard times, i dunno, im not god.

And neither are you. Apparently, the control on your life is limited.

So my BEST advice, get right with god, guide through this hard time you are in - and move forward. If you were meant to do music - it will come to you - Being homeless and trying to get it done, is admirable - YET very dangerous.

And why stay in the danger zone for something you arent guaranteed ?

*ignorance*

Are you able to help an aspiring producer??? I am currently at a homeless shelter and need a place to connect my PC so I can prepare my tracks to be mixed professionally for a beat CD. The tracks are already done but I use Cubase SX with virtual instruments and need to render the files to audio for pro-tools and change some of the sounds.
I am in Jersey City NJ.
Today I am nobody but tomorrow is another day. oddymentaal3@yahoo.com Thanks.

Yo, dude. If I was near ya, my homie has a studio and I would get you in there in a heartbeat. I love to see this kind of dedication. Willing to do what it takes no matter what the situation. That's heart and IMO, the true meaning of Hip-Hop - the struggle. Fuckin brilliant. Keep ya head up, oddy. You have my support. Good luck, my friend. Peace!

Listen I am all for aspirations pursuing ur dream, but at the same time it's useless u talking how about krs-1 was homeless and he went on to be successful.

cos thats not u, dont think that if u go thru a hard time that makes u more entitled to be successful, some peeps put themselves in a bad situation then rationalise it by saying someone else went thru it and came out on top, but u gotta think there are a million other motha fuckas u aint hear about that tried the same thing and flopped so dont make it hard on urself.

what cold truth saying is cool dude lived in his car had a job and made beats that grinding, but sitting in ur house making beats and not looking for a job or anything else thats not realistic, and if thats what peeps is endorsing then i aint down with that.
