What up cleverwon, congrats on the extra ends. hook a brotha up...LOL Naw. Are you looking for a projection TV or projector?

For Projectors check out: http://www.projectorpeople.com/hometheater/hometheater-specials.asp
This is where I purchase from on my 9-5. You can project on any wall and you can even hook your computer up to it.

TVs: Projection? Plasma? LCD? DLP? Too many to choose from. Most of the time bargain brands will cost you in the long run. Stick to Sony, Panasonic, Magnaovox etc.

But what ever you get make sure it's true HDTV and EDTV. Right now there aren't too many stations even broadcasting in HDTV, but it's cool to be ready when it's more widely available. EDTV (Enhanced Definition TV) is some crap.

Holla for more info and more details as to what you're looking for.

Thanks for the help guys and gyals. Well what I like about projectors is that they are small and the picture can be very large. I already had a clear wall that i'd like to use. I have digital cable and they have a bunch of HDTV channels, so thats not a problem. But i know some projectors are hard to see in the daytime and shit like that (so i've read). I really dont know too much though. I couldnt tell you the difference between projection, plasma, lcd or dlp either. I just basically want something very big (like wall size), very clear (hdtv), and for a price around$2, 000. (+/- $1,000).

i don't know about the projector, but the hdtv's is off the chain halo 2 looks sick on a hdtv my teacher has one and that sucker is tight, but what i like about the projector is you can hook your computer to it and you can have this big ass monitor on the wall so my vote would for you to go with the tv tho just for halo's sake

Ok, if you are looking for a good HDTV-Ready projector for around 2000, good look. the best thing to get right now is a LCD or DLP rear projection tvs. the one i would get would be the sony 50 lcd. the model number is KDF50WE655. you can probley get it for under 3000. they also have a 42in version for around 2500. even if you could get an front projector i wouldnt get it. the lamps on those things go out almost ever year if you use them as you primary TV. And also, you have to keep you room very dark to even enjoy a front projector. on a rear projector set thats uses lcd or dlp the lamps last alot longer. you should be able to get about 3 to 4 years out of them. you can also use them in a room that has some light in it. if you are trying to decide between lcd and dlp, lcds will give you truer colors as where dlp will give you a sharper and faster picture. if you like dlp get the samsung HL-P5063W. dont get me wrong, front projectors can be great, ive had one set up in my house before. but they can be a hassle. most of them are noisy and create alot of heat. i say get a nice front projector set. if you have any more questions hit me up. i do this shit for my day job. i worked at best buy for like 2 years now im at circuit city.

So what price range can I expect for a good projector? Can you give me some specs? Ive seen XGA and 2100 lumens; is this ideal?

Toshiba has a 51, 57 and 65. you can find them at Best Buy. These are CRT projectors so they are pron to burn in and convergance issues. great value but if your looking to spend 2000 go with lcd or dlp. i believe BestBuy has a Zenith LCD 44" screen thats right around 2000. I would get the service on any dlp and lcd becuase they will replace the bulbs for you when they burn out. BB should be 400 for 4 years and Circuit City should be 499.
