Hank Shocklee words of wisdom

Hank Shocklee is the one Hip Hop producer that I would love to learn from. There are many others I'd like to learn from as well, but it's Shocklee that I always admired.

I found this and I think everyone should check it out. He gives insight into not only working with Ice Cube but just producing in general.

I think more producers and beatmakers should listen to what he has to say and apply it to today's beats:

@Fade I think everyone should watch this video. This dude is dope. He knows about not sticking to one style. Being East, West, South, Whatever, it all falls under the same umbrella. You got to be versatile. This is really informative and inspirational. Shouts out to fade for providing these articles. Hopefully this community helps me be the beat maker I wish to be.

Yeah that's it. What I always liked about him and the Bomb Squad was how they used tiny pieces of a record to put together a beat. It must have been total chaos back then, especially recording on tape!
