I ran across this interview of Hank Shocklee talking about some of his production techniques. This is a really good video that covers techniques from 'back in the day' to the techniques of today. He reveals some good stuff here. My favorite part is when he talks about the "pause tape" method...man that brought back memories...I was a master at this. Anyway, I had to share this... Enjoy!

Great video! I was reading part of this interview just the other day and loved the part about the SP with the cable half way in. That's one thing that's overlooked a lot; accidents in the studio that end up being useful.
