great headphones but wack soundcard - suggestions please

i got a pair of audio technica ath-m30's and i use acid pro for music making.....i have a real crappy ass sound card, and i was wondering if could better imporvement on the sound and put my ehadphones to good use if i invested in a better soundcard? thank you

try emu, el cheapo 0404 like 99 bucks or cheaper, Emu cards are dropping in price around here.

I would personally save my my $$$ and get a Card thats gonna last some years. thats just me though.. Stick with these brands,, Delta, Emu, Echo and creamware

yes they do Especially when recording and working with Pro Quality high res Files

Hell yea man, they make all the differnce in the world, your stuff may sound good on your speakers but when u take ur mix to a studio or other systems, u hear the flaws. I learned that lession quick. If your soundcard sucks, your music will suck
