wow... this thing is the best toy i ever got... i apologize to the mpc gods for denying them so long.. im totaly in love with the mp sequecing .. i havent even touched my computer since i got this bad boy .. i was pretty quick laying down a beat on software but with the mp im twice as fast.. i havent even saved anything yet because its like its not worth it cuz i can just lay down beat after beat after beat... the only thing i like better on the computer is the ease of chopping the samples... that shit is kinda annoying turning the jog wheel .... especially if u are working with a large sample

ur style is perfect for the MPC sequncer. Ime glad its working out for you. So tell me some things about the 4000 becasue i was considering upgrading in the future

As far as samples, why dont u chop them on your computer and import them to your MPC via USB, that may be alot more efficent!!!!

when are we gonna hear some stufff

oh yeah i forgot i can even chop samples in recycle and then save it as an akai program..wwoooo!... my favorite thing about the 4k is the filtering and lfo/synthesizer options... u can make ur sounds pretty fierce.... its really good for fucin with samples or sythns ... you can take an ordinary sounding sounds through the lfos and really make em sound edgy and fierce..especially lead sounds... yeah im about to get a site up soon so ill post some stuff i been doin.. got some sample free shit i been doin too so watch out class!!!

Congrats' Holmzini! I have been thinking about makin' the upgrade to the 4000 myself! But hell, I have'nt even fully mastered my 2000xl yet! LOL! I don't use my mpc to chop samples either. I use either wavelab or recycle and then send the samples directly to my mpc when I'm done. It saves alot of time and headaches as opposed to screwin' with that jog wheel. Since my computer is a piece of crap. I normally only use it for that purpose. My mpc has become the center for my little studio instead of my computer. Hit us up and let us know how that monster is working out.

naw ive never used one really before this .. i sometimes fuc around with keyboards but yes most of my previous beats were done basically in reason without a midi controller lol.. but thats over with the 4k is the truth!..bottom line its just quick and intuitive the way u make beats and the swing is so nice it seems even when u leave it at 50% it still seems to have a natural swing... when i used to work with the computer i used to get a fatigue factor when i had a long session...maybe it was staring at the screen i dunno .. but with the mp u make the music using less of ur eyes and more of ur ears.. the whole design of it just makes more sense to me.. but thats just me i guess its not for everyone

Yeah, I was the same way at first; starring at the screen fuckin' up my vision' lol...I could never get with the feel of playing drums on a keyboard either. When I first got my mpc I was like daaammnnn!! This shit is tha' truth fo' real! No wonder just about every studio you see got one in it! Wait a minute.... I just caught that you said that you were doing your beats without even a midi controller? Damn son you ain'ts to be fucked wit'. I've listen to some of your beats and I was like damn this cat got skills. Now I really know that that shit is true. I can't wait to see what you come up with once you get the feel with that mpc! Believe me; for someone like you, it should take you to the next chamber!
