I got a full tank and my wife has a half. I was getting a lot of text messages from family asking if I was okay because we have people here driving all the way to Georgia to get gas. I didn't notice but last night we went to pick up some chinese food and none of the gas stations we passed had gas.

Stress the lowest gas you can find here is 3.89, 3.99 is more common and $4.19 is not unheard of..
Ive not seen anything like this before, obviously there is plenty of gas, I'm wondering why they arent delivering it.

They shut down the distribution pipe line when the hurricane hit Texas. That pipe line runs east and supplies the entire south east, parts of the midwest and up north. If they shut it down for a week it takes 3 weeks to get it fully operational again. People need to calm down, stop hoarding it if they are and drive less for a freaking couple weeks.

The attitudes that people have in "small" situations like this only verify how spoiled we are. When shit really hits the fan we'll be killing each other for absolutely nothing! It's very sad when most can't cut back two or three weeks! There is no way in hell we'll survive as a nation when and if the shit really kicks off. No one should be getting more gas than they need.

So what if you go buy up all the damn gas? Who does that really help? What matters is if the trucks can't get food to the freaking stores. That's what we need to survive....not freaking gas. U can't eat gas and shit it out! We are so primed for the Apocalypse!

Freakin' gas shortage got me at home this weekend. There is not one gas station with fuel within a 15 mile radius of my house. Car is filled and I have a 10 gallon can full. Scared to burn gas because no one knows when the stations will be back up.
