Good Studio Moniters for 200$..?

aiyo been looking around. I need some advice on Moniters, and im pretty broke, so i really need a bang for my buck.

Hey I got an Alesis one monitors for about 150 and the amp for a 100 bucks

aight i decided to go with the m-audio btx5's for studio moniters, everyone says they are great for the 200 $ price tag . . .

sorry but one more question. im pretty stupid when it comes to this audio shit, what cables would i need to connect the two moniters into my mpc2000xl?

use 1/4 plugs from your monitor your mpc2000xl.

what i would suggest is getting a small mackie mixer. plug your gear into the mixer..and to the mixer to the monitor..

mackie's aint cheap. But i just got the Behringer UB802 8-Channel Mixer, its not digital but i just got it to use as a pre-amp for my Monitors and a soundcard extension kind-of, but its crazy. It's got a lot of headroom and i sware you'll be glad you got it.

but could someone tell me what cables i would need to go to my 2 moniters (m-audio bx5) to my mpc? would i need 2x 1/4 to 1/4?????

Dont worry about it (the dumb questions).

But yea, for the MPC into the 802, you'd have Dual 1/4"-to-(Single) 1/4".
With the dual at the MPC, and the single at the mixer.

And for the BX5's, i dont know about what kind of inputs go into the Monitors, but the output of the mixer would be Dual 1/4".

Try that out. That's about all you should need.
