Good program for making bass

Anyone know any good programs for making bass. I heard novation bass station was pretty good but im not sure. You guys heard of any good ones?? Also if I use reason am I going to be able to use the sounds I make in other programs??

if you use reason's synths, you won't be able to use the sounds because you save the sounds as patches (can be opened within reason's environment only).
same goes for the samplers. you may save the sounds you make as patches.
now, if you use reason, you don't need any special software\hardware to make any type of sound. just use reason's built-in synthesizers. by using them, you can get any bass sound you wish

OK what reason synth is best to use, the subtractor or the malstrom? Any tips you have for making bass using the synths in reason?? Thanx

the Malström is one of the best synths i have ever heard. it is capable of producing anything from beautiful lush pads\strings to sub bass.
Subtractor is a great synth as well; it's best used to produce leads + bass. you can get anything from a square drum&bass bass, to a deep 808 bass drum. on the other hand, it can produce amazing leads etc'.
in any case, at the end of the road, both synths can be used in order to produce anything from mysterious pads and orchestral strings, to deep basses and penetrating leads.
