Ya I just saw that yesterday. It's really interesting if you think about it, but it's expected because of online streaming. No longer are people interested in albums, they just want the hottest new single, that's it.

I prefer an album because I want to hear what a particular artist has to offer. I guess I'm one of the few that still enjoys listening to an album from beginning to end.

It's true, hit songs used to get people out to buy albums, it was a nice incentive to go out and see what else that artist had been doing. But now it's a mixed bag... a lot of recent albums (at least hip-hop) have been underwhelming, so I don't know, maybe it's a sign of the times...
