Really? I thought maybe they were having trouble when Roland had them, so that's why this seems fishy. Do you know anything about it? I hope it doesn't fuck them up because I've been a Cakewalk fan for a long time.

Gigastudio was dope at the time, it's too bad that went down.

IDK Roland is not the right company for them. But Gibson has a 100% fail rate on software acquisitions. Opcode studio vision was this amazing DAW back in the day Gibson bought and killed them in a hurry. Gibson kills almost every company they purchase. Its crazy! If you are using Sonar I would consider switching at this point. The future could be bright but it is VERY unknown.
