Getting a MIDI Keyboard to work on MAc

I just switched platforms from Windows to Mac.

I have an M-Audio Radium 49 I've been using as a MIDI controller. It worked awesome in Win.

I installed the Mac drivers on my Mac and I plugged in my keyboard into the USB. Then nothing happened. I tried going into a native program like Garage Band to see if my controller is recognized and I couldn't even select it as MIDI Input.

How can I get this to work?

Naw, I have both and I like my mac(s) better. Does the Maudio software show that it is conected?

I connect it and nothing happens. When I used to connect it to my PC it woul show that new hardware is connected.

Right, fire up the maudio software and see if it says connected. You have to remember that the mac is very different from your PC, there is no new hardware found dialog.

Only thing that shows up when I search for M-Audio in spotlight is M-Audio Firmware. M-Audio USB support.plugin and M-Audio Firmware Loader. I can't click on any of them to really open it up. What should I do?

ok it does not sound like you loaded all of the maudio software. Go to there web site and download the latest software for your keyboard.

Got it to work! Turns out all I needed was an updated driver! Thanks!
